Alyssa Rivas '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Alyssa R. Rivas, student athlete.  When I think of my goals and aspirations, I divide them into short term and long term goals and aspirations.  In the short term, I want to graduate HS and get into a good college.  If possible, I'd like to be part of a softball team while in college.  Just as I have been in HS.  I have a great passion for softball , I've been playing since I was a little girl.  I know the game and I play it very well.  I hit with power and have very good defensive skills at catching and infield corners.  Academically and athletically, I am always working to improve and do better today than I did  yesterday.   I naturally lean into leadership roles but I am also able and willing to take secondary and "soldier" roles when needed.  If given the opportunity I know I can contribute to the success of a college softball program.

In the long term, I would like to graduate college with a degree that allows me to manage and maneuver through life and what challenges and accomplishments it may bring.
