Personal Statement
I'm a 5'1" catcher and second basemen from Manassas VA. I started all 3 years for Benton middle school. I wish to make the softball team at Colgan high school all 4 years and strive for varsity all 4 years. I have a GPA of 3.6 and the last 2 years of middle school I was in National Junior Honor Society for maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of forensic sciences. Ideally my athletic environment would be one where I can make an immediate impact on the team. I would like to be at a larger sized school with a great college town atmosphere. I am interested in most schools on the east coast, and to play at the next level. I am willing to travel to the west coast to play as well for the right fit school. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process. I am a very hard worker and also love to be on the field no matter if it's a practice or a game. I am the first to the field and the last to leave. I practice all the time at home when I feel I need the work whether it be hitting off the tee or fielding a ball.I also love to help my teammates out if they are struggling or don't understand something. When my teammates are down I pick them up. My goal is to play at the next level and help the team pursue a conference or national title.
