Personal Statement
My name is Paige Padberg and I am a midfielder for the class of 2021. I set a goal for myself many years ago to play lacrosse in college and have and continue to work very hard to reach that goal.
Having played at both defense and midfield, I think what sets me apart from other recruits is my vision and awareness of the field. I am able to read other players, anticipating their actions, which allows me to intercept and knockdown passes. My strength, speed and conditioning has increased significantly over time which has helped me to beat my opponents on the draw and to ground balls, out run them down the field and to quickly feed the ball to outlet players.
After high school I plan to attend college, majoring in criminal justice and hope to play competitive college lacrosse.
