Kaitlyn Mininger '21 Recruiting Profile

As the youngest of four girls, I followed after my father in his love for sports. I tried several different sports but ultimately softball stole my heart. This wonderful game has given me so much, from realizing my own strengths to giving me the most incredible friendships. Softball, as a team sport, has taught me the importance of team and dependability.  A team wins together and loses together, no matter what.  Also what it means to be a leader on and off the field. After being homeschooled for several years I returned to public school my freshman year and I am currently a three-year starter coming out of my junior year. Through many ups and downs, I've learned the importance of believing in my own ability, past what others thought and working hard to better myself.  Through those experiences, I know that I can excel with your program both athletically and academically. I am ready to be a dominant force on the field and in the classroom.
