Cortney Hunt '18 Recruiting Profile

I am 16 years old and do not claim to have my future planned out yet but I do see college in every possible path. I have played softball since the age of 6 and have, like many others, a compelling wish to play in college and will continue to compete to earn that opportunity. I try to maintain a well rounded life with family, other sports, and activities that allow different life experiences as well as keep me connected to my Native American heritage, people around me, and my community. My grades are very important to me, they can reflect not only what I have learned but how hard I am willing to work to acquire knowledge that I may use in the future.

The question is what makes me different from other recruits? I believe in always trying my best, trying to do the right thing, pushing to get better and bending to meet the needs of my team. I will, in essence, be the best I can be and exactly what and where my team needs me to be so that we move forward, accomplish, and win.
