Maya Valdez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maya Valdez, I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old. It all started when I joined a travel team put together by my grandfather who is a seasoned coach in my area. Since then I have dedicated time and hard work towards improving and working towards my goals to compete. Over the years I have played travel ball with teams of varying strengths and had success at local, state and national levels. The best team I ever played with was made up of 12 girls that gave 150% both on and off the dirt. I would love to do that for four more years. I am seeking a school that will allow me to reach my academic goals and that has a strong softball program.
