My name is Keleigh Myers and I am a 17 year old, 5'7" 170 lb. catcher. I primarily play catcher and my secondary position is third base but am also a utility. I am an upcoming senior at Pullman High School in Pullman, Washington. As a freshman, I was the starting catcher on varsity, didn't get a chance to play my sophomore season, and also started my junior year. I have been the starting catcher on my club team, Pullman Hounds, since I began playing travel ball. Currently, I am a utility on my team, U18 Spokane Stealth. I take pride in being a positive and loud voice on and off the field. In the classroom I work to my full potential no matter the circumstance. I have a cumulative 4.0 GPA for all years of high school. My hard work in the classroom directly translates to my work on the field. I am a passionate player and will do my best to do anything I am told to my full potential. I love getting feedback and being coached as well as taking every chance I get to practice extra or get extra reps. I am a very coachable athlete and I think that's why I have had many of my successes thus far. I train all winter with my pitchers and I think that is why I am able to preform at a high level during the seasons of play. My work in the off season prepares me, makes me better, and keeps me focused on the sport I love most. It also allows me to form greater connections with my teammates and pitchers which is incredibly valuable. As for academics, I love learning new things. I take my education very seriously and I like a challenge. Being a student-athlete is something I really am passionate about. Playing softball in college and getting an higher education is a big dream of mine and something that I would love to have the opportunity to do.
I believe that I would be a strong asset to any team because of my passion, drive, work ethic, and positive personality. I love to have fun and work hard. I will always have faith in my team, coaches, and staff and believe that anything is possible when we work together.
