Meghan McSweeney '21 Recruiting Profile

Starting at 4 years old, I fell in love with the game of softball, and have had dreams of playing for college for as long as I can remember. I am primarily a shortstop and my secondary is second base, but I can play all positions. I have been a starter on varsity all 3 years of my high school career. I received all league for the shortstop position my sophomore year, but sadly my junior year season was cut off due to Covid-19. On the field I am a leader, I provide energy, excitement, and encouragement for my fellow teammates. This translates into the classroom as well, as I maintain my 3.9 cumulative GPA. I have received first team all league all 3 years for soccer, basketball, and softball. I would love to attend a university that sets me up for academic success for my future, and that provides me with my dream of playing college softball.
