Justyce Porter '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Justyce Porter and I am a 6' pitcher who commands the circle on the softball field.  I am a dedicated, hard working athlete whose love for the game has only intensified from the lack of play from the Covid. College is a big choice in life and I am open to going anywhere near or far from where I grew up.  I want to major in Psychology but become a Firefighter.  If I can study these topics, and play softball too, I promise to give 110% effort in both.  My main softball goal is to continue to play at a high level and play in college. This will continue to allow me to play the sport I've loved ever since I was 8.  And at the end of the day if I could get an education at a school I love and continue playing softball for as long as I can, I will have fulfilled my pre career dreams.

I am a 2022 grad and I go to a private school in SeaTac Washington, Seattle Christian. I have attended this school since kindergarten.  At my school education is very important to the school, as well for the students.  As a student, I excel at school with a GPA of 4.0.  I also play three sports on the Varsity level, Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. I am the ASB Treasurer and I also enjoy preforming in Drama and Photography.  My preferred sport of course is softball. I have played select since I was 8 with the same organization, the Washington Acers.

I have been told by all my coaches that I am a leader to my teammates on and off the field.  When there isn't any practices or tournaments, I am consistently working on my pitching, hitting, or fielding, I also enjoy playing first or third.  I have learned that hard work pays off, and if I want to be on the field I will never give up.
