Claire Wetzel '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear prospective Coach,

My name is Audrey Wetzel but am known more endearingly as my middle name, Claire. I love playing softball and being in a community where I feel that I play an important role in. Softball has given so much to me and I don't want it to end with just high school. My goal is to develop my skills to the collegiate level, to find a family outside of my home, and to be one of the few people in my family to get a college degree. I love learning more about the sport and am passionate about becoming the best I can be. I'm highly coachable, learn quickly, and I love being a part of a team. 

In my freshman year of high school, I made starting varsity, and was my school's ace pitcher. I broke my school's strikeout record with 227 strikeouts and made second team all conference.
