Alyson Simmons '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyson Simmons, and I am primarily a catcher. I have been catching since I was eight years old; however, I am also a utility player and play other positions as well. I am very familiar with third base, middle infield positions, and all outfield positions. I was the starting varsity catcher during my freshman season at Moorefield High School. After playing several years of softball, I have learned how to be a good, encouraging, and leading teammate. I am willing do play any position to drive my team toward success. Other than softball, I play high school volleyball. I hope to play softball throughout college while also pursuing a degree. Grades are most important to me, and I work hard in and out of school to ensure academic success.
