Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Ellizanna Hershey (2023). While pursuing a major in criminal justice and a minor in psychology, I am seeking a college/university where I can also play competitive softball. My parents have always encouraged me to try new things, so they signed me up for Little League Softball when I was 7. As an All-Star Team member for 4 years, my final year culminated in winning the state tournament.
I have nerves of steel, play hard, and never give up. Softball has taught me how to accept failure and persevere through difficult times. I can play multiple positions, including pitcher, and have a powerful bat. Playing softball has taught me so much about myself and I can't wait to play at the next level.
