Maggie Wilkins '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals would be to pursue a degree in Elementary Education because I enjoy helping kids learn. My other main goal is to play college level basketball. I want to play collegiate basketball because it is the highest level of basketball that will lead me to being the best I can be while also challenging myself as a player and a teammate. I am the type of player that thinks about my teammates and gets them involved as much as possible. I pride myself in playing aggressive defense throughout every game. I love playing point guard because i enjoy having the ball in my hand and creating plays for my team that lead us to victory. I am different from other recruits because I’m loyal and I care more about how the team does rather than how I do personally. I think of myself as a leader on and off the floor. I take care of my teammates by making sure they are being the best they can while also making sure they are having fun playing the game. I have a 3.7 GPA. I take my school work seriously and make sure it is a high priority. I am not only a hardworking player and teammate but also a hardworking student.
