Sydney Blaine '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Blaine. I live in Lenexa, Kansas and I will be a Junior at Notre Dame de Sion high school for the 2025-2026 school year. As a freshmen I was a part-time starter for our varsity team that won the Missouri Girls Class 4 District 13 Championship, Sectional Championship and made it to the Elite 8 of the state tournament.  I was also voted to the All District Team by the district coaches.  I was a full time starter my sophomore season where we repeated as district champions and made it to the Sweet 16.  My current club team is the Della Lamb 17U 3SSB team in Kansas City. I am a very good teammate that consistently encourages others even when I am not on the floor.  I work hard in practice and on my own training to be a better player.  I love to play defense and to shut the opposing player down.  I have an all-around game, where I can penetrate, pass, and shoot the 3 and the mid range. My goal is to play basketball after high school at the next level.  I have a strong commitment to academics in school.  I am loyal and kind and want to see the best for others.
