My name is Sophia Keoskey and I am currently a senior at West Morris Mendham High School, in Mendham Township, New Jersey, graduating in 2025. My goal is to continually excel in the game of basketball and my dream is to play on a college team. In addition to my athletics, I fully recognize how important academics are, always strive for straight A's and have constantly attained high honors throughout all of my middle and high school years. I have two primary goals that drive me in my preparation for college; to be the best basketball player that I can be and to strive for academic excellence. My goals aim high but the word "can't" is not in my vocabulary. To achieve these goals, I have been playing on several AAU, travel, and school teams along with many individual and team clinics. I am thinking, training, or practicing basketball every single day. Along with individually striving to be a better player, I make sure that my teammates are also integrated into my basketball experience. I feel that I will be a good candidate for college basketball because, through my training with various teams over the past 10 years, I have learned discipline, commitment, perseverance, toughness, and many more traits that will allow me to be the best I can be, anytime and anywhere. I am a team player and focus on helping my teammates with their skills or struggles just as I am improving mine. I am always passionate about enhancing my game skills and I am very coachable. I know that my high school years of my life will only come once, and I intend to make it count.
