Amanda Gordon Hig...Personal Statement
My name is Amanda Gordon from Teaneck, New Jersey and I'm a Class of 2016 student in Teaneck High School. I have been playing varsity since my freshman year. I have been playing AAU Basketball on the New Jersey Sparks since the 9th Grade as well.
Just to tell you a little more about myself. I primarily play small forward although I am often asked to play power forward and center in different situations. Outside of basketball I am currently involved with a program called "Heroes & Cool Kids" we mentor younger students hoping to instill positive values based on our experiences.
As a student, I am really interested in science although I truly want to pursue a career in physical therapy ultimately earning a Doctoral degree.
