Jessica Bernard '18 Recruiting Profile

I became interested and began playing basketball about seven years ago. I see myself playing basketball long after college, I find great pleasure in game. I know that playing basketball in college is a great honor and if I am fortunate enough to have this honor I endeavor to play to the highest esteem.

Over the years I have become skilled at moving around the court, reading the game, moving at optimal speed if needed, and placing my body on the ball to prevent a turnover. I am a team player and maintain a high standard which exemplifies the game. I have the highest regards for my teammates and my coaches, we are a team and we “rise and fall together.”

I am committed to my academics and have maintained a GPA above a 4.5. I volunteer at summer camps, youth basketball camp and I am a member of Bergen County RISE, Iota Epsilon Omega Chapter, Rotary Society - Interact Club, Art Club and so on ………..

The college that I will attend must provide me with the opportunity to focus on a major in computer engineer and have a minor in computer graphics and animation. The same commitment that I have for my academics is the same commitment I have for basketball.
