Samantha Carew '21 Recruiting Profile

I believe that I am very flexible and can thrive in any role I need to play on a team. My main position is a 4 or a 5, but I can hold my own in a 3 and a 2. I am very motivated to be the best that I can be on the court as well as off the court. My main collegiate goal would be to be the best basketball player I can be. Something that makes me different from other recruits is my ability to stay focused on a goal. One thing that I love the most about basketball is that it is not an individual sport and being apart of a team. I put the teams needs before my own and will do whatever the team needs me to do in order to succeed as a whole. I want to do everything I can to achieve that goal. I also believe that I have a great basketball mind. Not only do I love playing basketball, but I love learning the game as I go and helping my teammates along the way. Not only do I perform on the court but I also perform in the classroom. I have a 3.7 GPA which I believe reflects my ability to succeed at any aspect in life.
