As a student athlete my goals and aspirations are to put academic’s first and sports second. My overall goal is to maintain a high GPA while playing competitive sports throughout my college career while staying connected to sports by majoring in Sports Science. Furthermore, an aspiration of mine is to obtain a college degree while playing competitive sports throughout my four years in college and I am looking forward to the challenge.
What makes me a good candidate for any college team would be, that I am a leader on and off the court. For example, I have completed countless hours of community service by coaching and mentoring the youth within my community. Also, I given back to the community by distributing food and water and feeding the less fortunate. As a teammate, I am a very fast learner who is coachable and leads by example. While leading by example, my main objective is to incorporate communication and positive vibes for the team. Along with that, I am a multipurpose player that can play multiple positions at a highly competitive level and I would be a huge asset to any team.
What makes me different from all the other athletes is that I am fighting for my family and my Native American people from my reservation. My family and my ancestors are what keeps me going and I am always thinking about others before myself. On and off the court, I believe doing the little things right the first time makes more of an impact. I will sacrifice everything to make sure that the team and program is successful.
