Personal Statement
In the four sports, choir, and forensics that I participate in I have been able to learn that no achievement is just handed out. I have learned that from being in many situations academically and athletically. Being from a rule school has given me the opportunity to try many things, not only sports but in the classroom. I have learned to be disciplined in whatever I am doing. I set the bar high for myself and expect good things. Being so involved from a young age I have learned to manage what I spend my limited time working on. Bettering myself is the only way I attain the goals I have set. Being a multi-sport athlete I have learned what I like and dislike. I know what I am good at and have a future in. I know that whatever it is that I set my mind to I could have a future in. As I look down the road my long term goals have been set on basketball. Being disciplined in all my sports is important, as well as prioritizing my goals. No matter what season I am in rodeo, cross country, or track I am focused on succeding there. And I will always stay disciplined in basketball and my bigger goals there.
