Remington Bontreger '21 Recruiting Profile

Throughout middle school and high school career, I knew I wanted to wrestle in college. I worked hard, had good work ethic, good grades, and most importantly the dedication and drive to participate at a Division 1 level.  I have been wrestling every year of my high school career and have made it to state every year. Last year (my Sophomore year) I came up short of the state championship match to take home a second place finish. I also came up short at the Bi-State Classic wrestling tournament and took home another second place. This year (my Junior year) I have placed 2nd at the state tournament and for my senior year I plan to blow past the competition to take home a state championship. Also, I have been MVP, most dedicated, and 1st team all conference since my freshman year. It is my all time goal to participate at a college level and then move onto the Olympic stage.
