My name is Tanesha Lucoe and I am a junior at Claremont Secondary School in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, graduating in spring 2019.
I started my diving career and the age of 9 in 2010. I currently dive for Boardworks Diving Club and train with Canadian Olympic Coach Tommy Mcleod. My main events are platform with 8 dives (386.45) and 3m springboard with 10 dives (473.75), I also compete in 1m springboard with 10 dives (377.55). I have competed at both junior and senior national levels, competed internationally for the past three years at the Cuba Copa Yumuri event and have also represented team BC at the 2017 Canada games in Winnipeg.
In addition to diving, I am also very dedicated to my academics including learning a second language, Spanish. Currently I have a 3.4/4.0 GPA and I balance my academic and athletic lives very efficiently. I am currently working on receiving my life guarding certification so I can pursue being a life guard.
