Sydney Clement '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 17 year old student at Summerland Secondary School. I am in great physical shape, I weigh about 140lbs. I have spent my entire life playing numerous sports. I am a dedicated and committed athlete. I swam for 7 years competitively for various swim clubs. I played fastball for 8 years and at a provincial level for 3 years. Also soccer for 3 years, basketball for 6 years and volleyball for 6 years as the captain. I have golfed for 5 years and have only recently played competitively the past couple years. I began 2010 with a handicap of 25 and with hard work and determination I ended the season as a 9. In my first year as a competitive golfer I qualified top in my zone for the BC summer games and finished T9th. In 2011 I have managed to drop my cap down to a 5 and now in 2012 I am a 3.8.Since I have played on numerous teams I have a lot of experience of being a team player. I always put in 110% of effort for every sport I play and am also fully committed to each team. I spent grades 6-8 in French emersion finishing all 3 years on both the honour and effort role. I have also volunteered over 50 hours in the childrens program at the Baptist Church. I am hoping to go to a school that is highly golf orientated and offers golf 12 months of the year. Also one that offers various types of training to better myself and potentially develop a career. I would like to major in physical eduction and kinesiology, I believe this will help achieve my dreams of being a Golf Professional. I am looking to inquiring a NCAA full ride scholarship in order to be part of a successful College or University golf team.
