Sofia McElroy '22 Recruiting Profile

Being on the varsity team since freshman year has been very influencing and has allowed me to grow in maturity. I have been able to develop my competitive mindset and I feel I have grown as a student-athlete by being the youngest on the team and in my grade. I am second seed on my high school team with an average score of 82 currently. I feel I am extremely coachable and have a great work ethic, so I know my scores will continue to improve as they recently have been.  I constantly strive to perfect all aspects of my game as I practice every day, as well as play in multiple tournaments each year since I was 8 years old. Along with playing golf I carry a 3.8 GPA, volunteer, and work at Bridlewood Golf Club. I feel I am a well-rounded young lady that would make a great addition to a competitive college golf team.
