Sydney Skinner '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’6” upcoming senior Defender and Co-Captain for the Varsity lacrosse team for Davis High School with Coach Jenn Morris.  This is my third season playing on Varsity. Before our season was suspended due to COVID-19, our team had a 4-2 record.  I had recorded 11 ground balls, 8 takeaways, 10 caused turnovers and had 2 shots on goal.  Last year our Varsity team had an overall record of 10-11 and a league record of 5-2, finishing second in the league.  I finished the season with 36 ground balls, 25 takeaways, 5 interceptions, 4 shots on goal and 2 goals.  Last year I was awarded an All-Conference Honorable Mention for my efforts.

I am mainly looking for a college on the West coast, but I am open to any college with a rigorous biology/genetics program and a lacrosse program that would allow me to have some play time as a freshman.  The size and division level of the school is not as important to me as the opportunity to play lacrosse on a collegiate level. I currently have a cumulative GPA of 3.82.
