I started playing lacrosse in 6th grade, and from the moment I picked up a stick, I fell in love with the game. I am mainly a midfielder, but I am a versatile player and have had experience playing both attack and defense. I also play varsity volleyball for my school in the fall and club volleyball in the winter. Despite this, I love lacrosse the most and play it as much as possible.
In the classroom, I take the most challenging courses available to me and work hard to excel in them. I pride myself on maintaining a high GPA and putting 110% into everything I do, both academically and athletically.
I started the Lacrosse Mentor and Leadership Club at my high school during my freshman year. Danbury, CT has a difficult time fielding youth lacrosse teams due to a lack of resources and female role models. The club provides equipment to underserved youth and mentors players through clinics and practices. I have grown so much as a person through lacrosse, and I strive to provide other girls with these same opportunities.
On the field, I am a coachable team player with an excellent work ethic. I am constantly trying to better myself as a player, and I do not settle for anything less than my best. I see it as my job to not only excel on the field but to bring my teammates up with a positive attitude both in practice and in games.
