My name is Sheila Hill and I am a junior at the Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest, New Jersey, where I have been a varsity lacrosse starter my entire high school career. I am 5'8" and weigh 130 pounds, and have been playing lacrosse for 8 years. I also have played club lacrosse for 4 years, and currently play for the T3 Elite 2013 North Team out of Basking Ridge, N.J. In addition, I run track during the indoor season for my high school varsity track and field team, and my 400 pr is 62.6 seconds. I also have run the 300, 200, and 55m. In addition, I played two years of high school and Club soccer . My passion, however, is lacrosse. I am committed to giving my all in every practice and game, and strive to be a leader by giving 110% every time I take the field. I have been described as an unselfish player who looks to find her teammates, but also is not afraid to shoot. As a freshman, I scored 17 goals and had 5 assists. In my sophomore high school season, I scored 28 goals, had 20 assists, and was a team leader in points scored per game both seasons. I am a hard worker both on the field, and in the classroom, with a 93 GPA in mostly Honors courses. I also take one AP course this year as a junior, and my average in that class is a 100. I aspire to continue my lacrosse career on the college level at an academically challenging institution. I am hoping to get the opportunity to show my potential to an assortment of Tier 1 colleges.
