Personal Statement
I started playing lacrosse at 13 years old. As a freshman, being a student athlete has taught me so many things, including time management, keeping a positive attitude, and working with others to accomplish goals, on and off the field.
During these unprecedented times, it is hard to stay motivated. Although, I have stepped up and been a leader to my team, keeping my teammates encouraged. While my right hand is my dominant hand, I have excellent stick skills with both hands. I am very coachable and always feel there is room for improvement. I always give 110%, regardless if its a game or just practice.
I am a very hard worker, in the classroom as well. Being in a rigorous STEM program, I work very hard to maintain a high GPA. I am very involved in my school community, being in a numerous amount of clubs. I also take college math courses on Saturdays and Sundays to challenge myself. After school, I worked with children as a Teachers Assistant at my local Montessori.
As for goals, I aspire to play for a college that will challenge me academically and athletically. I plan to attend a college and major in Computer Science or Cyber security, that will lead to attending a graduate school or having a career in the field. I want to find the best school that coincides with what my family and I are looking for. I plan to learn and grow as a person as well as be a positive influence, on and off the field, in my collegiate years.
