Wake up, think about my stick skills, eat , think about positioning, sleep, how to be the best teammate I can be. Lacrosse isn't just a sport to me, it is a lifestyle that has been a large bright light of passion since I was eight and has never dulled. It gives me the constant opportunity to flourish and achieve my goals. These goals are playing in college, continuing my education and becoming a physical education teacher and coach. For some athletes it is easy to say that they are hard workers but, after seeing my sister become an NCAA D1 athlete, I not only know how much dedication it takes athletically, but also how important it is to make sure the "student" in " student athlete" always comes first. I am a multi sport , honors level student athlete with exceptional hands, as my left hand is equal to my right.
My exemplar work ethic has led to many accomplishments already. Such achievements include being named to several watch lists, playing attack while representing the Hudson Valley at the United States National Tournament in N.C and the New York State Excelsior games, qualifying for the Athletes Unlimited Futures team and the New York State Regional team. My athletic honors include being all County and Section, being named Poughkeepsie Journal player of the week, and holding Freshman scoring records. I am currently ranked #1 all time female at wall ball in Snypr history and have made showcase all star teams. All of these great recognitions and achievements do not end at the athletic level, I have also been able to excel in the classroom by being a consistent honors student! I want to be a part of a college team that acts as a family, has a deep love for the school communities and supports all of their sports teams as a whole. I know I will be a great addition to any college because I will bring high intensity, an incredibly coachable presence, and most importantly my love for lacrosse!
