In my life, soccer has been more than just a way to stay fit. It is my passion and there is nothing I have worked harder to be successful in. I love everything about the sport, from the competitive thrill to personal progress to the amazing teammates I play with. I want to continue soccer in college because I want to become a better player, to learn from those who have found success and to further my time in the soccer community. Since I was little, I have faced many setbacks in soccer, but I have constantly worked hard to move past them. In order to get better, I reflected on what I needed to improve upon, listened to feedback from coaches and then altered my training to fit those needs. I added in explosive training, sprint work, trained with a variety of coaches to get new feedback and build different skills and adapted to weather that may have prevented training by setting up space in my garage over the winter. I will never give up on reaching the goals I set and my perseverance is what sets me apart. Additionally, I trained while simultaneously pushing myself in academics, taking multiple honors and AP classes throughout my entire high school career. I maintained a strong academic record due my work ethic and time management that allowed me to get help from my teachers and study for my classes. My journey to where I am now was one filled with hard work and dedication, but I could not be happier and I am excited to see where my future takes me.
