Hello, my name is Leah Martin! Soccer has and always will be one of the most important things in my life. Since I was 5 years old, I have been playing the sport I love. Through these past 11 years, I have grown, not only, as a player, but also as a person. Soccer has taught me valuable lessons on and off the field. As a 4 time captain, I have learned leadership skills that will definitely be useful as an adult or a player on your team! Throughout my years playing soccer, I have learned how to overcome adversity while also being humble and tenacious.
Off the field, soccer has influenced the importance of balance in my life. Academically, I seek to challenge myself; I am currently in the International Baccalaureate Program. In college, I aim to learn more about what interests me and to use that acquired knowledge to be successful. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to attend college and have access to further education. My friends, family, and coaches have all helped me get to this point in my life. Support and guidance from these people have developed me into this person.
