Julia Mauriello '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Julia Mauriello and I am a 2009, class of 2027 goalkeeper at West Morris Mendham High school NJ. For the past 2 years I have played on 2008 teams as a 2009 goalkeeper and been able to develop my skills greatly. I am a very active student at my school as the class president of my grade and a high honor roll student. 

Ever since I started playing soccer I have wanted to be a goalkeeper, following in my mother's footsteps as she was a Division I goalkeeper in her college career. The great amount of athleticism that is required in a goalkeeper unlike any other position is what I find the most intriguing about this position. 

I am a very physical keeper and use my frame and athleticism to my advantage. I believe my skill set and athleticism will be able to make me a great asset on any collegiate team.
