Leah Paddie '21 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember soccer has been my greatest passion, since the age of 5 years old I have been playing this amazing sport here in Oklahoma. I am an Army Brat and have traveled to three different states during my childhood but now my dad has retired from service I call Oklahoma home. Throughout the years I have learned how to work as a team and how to communicate well with others, I have learned what winning feels like and I have also tasted defeat. Soccer has enhanced my people skills and pushed me out of my norm, to take risk if I want to be successful. Each season my passion grows and my discipline sharpens as I get closer to graduation. I know I only have a short time to play this game I love and if I want to continue at the next level I must maintain my discipline and stay hungry. Some say I am my own worst critic "My Parents"... But its the only way to grow, I am continuously critiquing my craft through film and hours of practice on and off the field. My Family has always preached setting goals, Short-term/Mid-term and Long-term goals. Currently my short term goal is to win my High School State Championship and to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. My mid term goal is to continue my craft and attend soccer camps over the summer as well as continuing my one on one training with my personal trainer. My long term goal is to attend a respected University at any level and earn my degree as a Sports Medicine Physician while at the same time playing the game I love. To any team willing to take a chance on me I can promise you this, I will not be outworked on the field, I will never give up on my team, I will never be undisciplined in my actions "On or Off" the field. I know I am Representing not only my Family but your University and I am grateful.
