My name is Ellie Frost and I want to play soccer at the collegiate level. I put focus and determination into my work on and off the field, and strive for excellence in everything I do. My high school coach told me that I am one of the smartest and most skilled dribblers she's ever had and that I am beyond her teaching. This provides me the drive to achieve a level of excellence in the sport that I love. I have worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA since 6th grade at Cache Public Schools and I am currently ranked 1st in my class. Science and engineering are what I have been greatly interested in, and I plan on studying biomedical engineering, microbiology, or something to do with meteorology in college. I believe that a strong team, not an individual player, is what wins games. The USWNT's way of play is what I enjoy recreating the most with my teammates. I study the way the highest leveled players make complex runs and smartly position themselves, and I replicate that during soccer games. I also believe that soccer is 50% mental and mental approach is most important (that is what my dad tells me). Therefore, I work to bring an optimistic attitude to every competition, and I never give up, no matter what the condition is.

Notes: Coming from a smaller club, this was a new level of development that I found very helpful. Definitely got more exposure (showcases, higher level tournaments, etc.), and I found the challenge I had been missing from my previous club team. However, the club was not the right fit for long-term success, and my coach got fired, which caused much disorganization. Nevertheless, I worked hard and gave every game, win or loss, 100%.
Notes: I played for the Predators from 5th-8th grade (fall and spring), and my team rose from travel rec. to an undefeated season in the Oklahoma Premier League. During my time on the Predators, I was consistently playing in older age groups: a u14 team at 12-13 years old, a u16 season when I was 14 years old, and two u18 seasons at 14 and 15 years old. Both seasons in u19 we went undefeated, and I scored an average of one goal per game.
