Katie Lehew '22 Recruiting Profile

    My father is a doctor and my mother is a wellness coach, therefore they value an active and healthy lifestyle. When my older brother started playing soccer, I showed an interest in playing as well at age four. Over the years, I tried other sports, but fell in love with soccer. I love soccer, because it allows me to stay active while having fun. I enjoy being a part of a team and taking the other team down. My favorite part of being a defensive mid is getting into tackles.

    I have just started high school, and I am taking the only 2 Pre-AP classes there are. I have always loved being challenged achademically, so I'd like my school to be selective at the least. I want to major in maybe architecture, criminology, or psychology. I love to watch the show Criminal Minds and I maybe want to join the FBI someday because it looks super exciting. I love music, so I play the piano, the cello, and the clarinet. I would say that I’m really shy at first, but once I warm up to someone I can be very crazy.
