Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Layla Lageman I am a young athlete that has a very strong passion and desire for soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was in 3rd grade, I grew up watching my aunt Cherie Silas and Elizbeth Silas play goalkeeper. When I would go to their games I would always look at the back of the field growing a love for the game and wanting to carry on the legacy. My goal is that by the time im a senior is to have many colleges looking at me also me having and trying to maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
Within my continuance four years playing highschool soccer and playing for Solar 05g Robertson NTX I hope to grow as a person and encourage the people around me. As a growing young female soccer player I am going to advance on my movement with the ball and controlling the ball when in possession. I am going to improve on reading my teammates as well as my opponents and learning them and their movement with the ball. Within my approaching four years of college, my goal is to maintain a 4.0 GPA. Also to attend a very good law program and pursue my dream of being a lawyer or police officer and to pursue soccer further.
