Emma Acker '23 Recruiting Profile

On the field, I aim to be a steady, reliable player and positive influence on my team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college soccer career, I will strive to be an asset to the team and lead by example.  Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.

Currently my academic workload includes AP studies, a 4.01 GPA and a focus on STEM.   I balance a high performing academic focus with 

-9 years of travel soccer 

-High school varsity soccer in my freshman, sophomore and junior years

-4 years of Virginia State ODP with regional tournament selections

-2 years of international experience as starting goalkeeper for the United States Youth Futsal National team 2018, 2019/2020

-3 years experience and inaugural season selection for Alexandria Futsal Women's Pro Team 2019, 2020, 2021  

I am confident that I have the athletic tools to impact an elite college program.   I seek the opportunity to continue my passion to compete in soccer while I pursue a quality education that  will position me strongly upon graduation.
