Personal Statement
Hello coaches I would like to tell you a few things about myself to help you get to know me a little better. Like everyone else tells you I love playing soccer but it is more than just a passion and a part of my life. Soccer has helped shape me into the person I am today. I am a strong, dedicated, caring and hard working individual. I take pride in every aspect of my life and strive for excellence in the classroom, on the playing field and in life. Over the years I have seen myself become a physically stronger person, mentally tougher and taught myself how to battle and overcome adversity when faced with tough situations. Soccer has played a big role in the characteristics I have developed by teaching me hard work, how to deal with disappointment, how to compete against others, how to win and lose with grace and what it means to be a part of a team. I believe these are areas in which you need to be successful in life, family, academics and in the business world. My college goals are to find a school that can continue to help develop me, teach me and to keep pushing and challenging me in the classroom as they prepare me for my future. I am a kind, generous and caring person and like helping others. This is why one day I would like to use the traits I have to pursue some type of work in the medical field. All in all I am a well rounded strong individual and would be an asset to any school as well as a coaches roster. I would bring my positive attitude not only to the team but my teammates and classmates everyday. I would use my strong work rate to push myself harder each day on the field and in my studies. My technical skills and abilities as well as my unselfish play would be a great benefit to the team and to our success. Going to a great college is a goal but being able to play soccer while I am there would be a dream and defining achievement in my soccer career.
