Hello! My name is Tiana Cruz. I attend Charles Colgan Senior High School in Manassas, Virginia. My love for soccer began at the age of four. Soccer is not just a sport, it’s a lifestyle for me. My strongest relationships have been built because of soccer, so I owe it my all. For that reason, I work relentlessly to better my game and become an even better teammate.
Having an opportunity to be Team Captain throughout my years playing soccer, I’ve demonstrated my ability to lead and support my team on and off the field. I encourage my team every game no matter the circumstances. My skills include but are not limited to; fast speed, ball control agility, quick thinking, quick feet and passing skills. I am always looking for ways to improve and I take well to criticism to further improve my game. I give soccer and my academics all my effort. I would like to continue my soccer journey by playing in college. I train hard and I always give it my all.
Academically, I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I am always looking for ways to help my community by volunteering. One of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities I've had was being a part of the Special Olympics. I enjoy being part of clubs within my school because it allows me an opportunity to build strong relationships with my peers.
