Melia Kinross-100...
Melia Kinross Swi...I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 6 years old. What separates me from others is my ability to race. At my first club competition, I swam with no entry time in heat 1, won my event, got a champ meet qualifying time and set a meet record. Throughout my 12 years of swimming, I have continued to set team, meet and league records at the Club, High School, and Summer League levels in both individual and relay events. While I love racing and competing more than the rigorous and lengthy practices that are required for swimmers at my level, I understand the need to commit to practice to better my ability to compete and win.
My Academic focus since middle school has been on completing a degree in Nursing. To that end, I attend the College of Biomedical Sciences & Allied Health at Ignite Institute and am currently working as an intern at St. Elizabeth Hospital, one of the largest health providers in Cincinnati. I will graduate HS just shy of an Associate Degree in Nursing and seek to acquire a BS in Nursing at the University level.
As competitive swimming has become a great part of my identity, I seek to continue my pursuit of racing and experience the thrill of winning at the College/University level. Acquiring me as one of your student athletes will satisfy our mutual need for improving competitiveness and the pursuit of racing excellence!
