Personal Statement

I am a dedicated swimmer with a strong work ethic and moral principles. Since I was six years old, I have been fascinated with this incredible sport. By representing my college or university at the national level today, I hope to advance my professional swimming career and set a positive example for other swimmers in my community. As an athlete, I view perseverance, commitment, truthfulness, honor, loyalty, integrity, and respect as my calling cards. I choose the butterfly and backstroke as my primary strokes even though I respect all of them. The 100/200 Fly, 100/200 Back, 200 Free, and 400 IM are among my favorite events.
