I would be a great candidate for your team because I am dedicated and hardworking.  I have a fun and happy personality and I am a great teammate!  One of the things my coach loves about me is that I take direction well, I received the "spirit of the game" award because of that.  

I work hard at all that I do, but I try to have fun along the way.  I am almost always in a good mood!  I think because of these qualities I was chosen as Swim Team Captain this year!  I can't wait to cheer my team on this year.
