Emily Zielinski '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Emily Zielinski. Since I was younger I have always wanted to run track at the collegiate level. Sprinting is what I am passionate about. I don't do track just for the workout or the glory, I do it because I love being a part of something that brings out the best in me. When I put my feet into the blocks and my fingers just below the start line, I get this sudden burst of happiness because I know this is what I was made to do. Track is also my second family. Being around my supportive teammates makes me love track even more than just the raw sport. I also wish of being an elementary school teacher because I love helping the people around me, on and off the track.
