The reason I am exploring being a USA Collegiate athlete is I feel that the USA track and field college systems offers very competitive racing and I would be excited to learn from the college system. Having just run a Youth Comm Games Qualifier, I am hungry for more and I wish to represent my Country in the future. I think the nature of USA racing would certainly assist in preparing me to compete at an International Level. As an athlete, I currently train in a great squad, but with minimal middle distance runners, so having team mates of similar times/distances around me, coaching and amazing facilities, (as my home track is grass), I feel I will be able to improve my times. As a student I am very Academic and would want to race and study so that I can come home with a Degree that could be used in Australia. If given a scholarship, I would embrace every opportunity when presented. As a person, I am an overachiever and a leader, I always strive to do my best in all aspects of my life. I want to be the best that I can be, and I feel the knowledge and experience I could gain overseas would certainly put me in a good position to achieve that.
