I began running the open 400m at the end of my freshman year, hoping to find an event that was perfect for me. During my sophomore year, I started to find passion and love for track and worked hard to reach my goals. I began my sophomore year with a 68 second 400m and ended with a 63.4 second 400m, which was a dramatic time drop. With my quickly improving times, I was able to contribute to the success of our team and began to love the sport even more. As a junior this year, I am excited to see what I can further achieve with my team, while also working to improve my times. My love for track reflects on the hard work that I exhibit during both practices and races, and I hope to do the same at a collegiate level.
