Salome Sanchez '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Salome Sanchez and I am a Pole Vaulter for Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan in Bergen County, NJ. I grew up competing in club gymnastics at the Junior Olympic level, and I began running at a very young age. I ran on my school's Varsity cross country team for two years and I began pole vaulting, high jumping, and running the 400 hurdles on the Varsity level as a Freshman. My main event is pole vault, and I have been practicing at Hudson Valley Flying Circus in Warwick, NY for the past two years. Track season is my favorite part of the year and I look forward to competing at the collegiate level.
