I hope to graduate with the highest possible honors, either as Valedictorian or Saluditorian of my senior class. I am striving to improve my ACT score and plan to continue re-testing until I am completely satisfied. I feel that a college degree is extremely important because not only does it open doors of opportunity but it helps shape your future into something great. I am interested in studying in the medical field; although I may not be one-hundred percent sure of what branch of medicine I would like to enter, I know I want to study medicine.
Running track is my passion, and if at all possible, I feel running in college could also potentially open new doors for me. I haven't always had an interest in carrying my track career over to college. Whenever I started high school, I decided against playing basketball and instead I took up running track. After missing State track my freshman year (my choice), I realized my potential after the next track season, my Sophomore year, and I decided I should try and make the State track meet a goal. That was the year I truly began training with the potential future of a college track scholarship in mind. I have made it to State track both my Sophomore and Junior years, and this year I have my sights set on the gold.
