Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Lorelei Bangit! I started running track in middle school and made my way from distance running to sprinting. Things got more serious when I started running club in the winter of my 8th grade year. My biggest accomplishment was winning the 400 at the WVSSAC State Track Meet my sophmore year. I am hoping to improve my 200, 400, and 800 times in my upcoming seasons. Another big goal of mine is to continue running in a college that is a good fit for me and that will help me grow as a person and an athlete. At this point, I am still trying to figure out a major that works for me. However, some of my interests include nutrition, exercise science, and education.
