Annie Oliverson '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Annie Oliverson and I am currently a freshman (2018) at American Leadership Academy-Gilbert North, in Gilbert, Arizona.   During the fall school season I started as an outside hitter for our school's varsity volleyball team.   I was awarded the "Offensive MVP" for the varsity team.  I am currently playing in my fourth year of club volleyball and I am a starting outside hitter with club EVC in the 16 Championship Division. 

I started playing volleyball at age nine and instantly fell in love with the sport.  From the beginning, you would never find me without a volleyball in my hands, whether I was laying down setting the ball to myself, or outside practicing hits against my house.  Early on I knew that my ultimate goal was to play volleyball at the collegiate/university level.   I am determined to put in whatever work and effort is necessary to accomplish this dream. 

My goal is to play volleyball for a competitive program where I can help lead the team to success.  It is very important that I play for a program that supports my personal standards and offers a strong moral environment.  I am a leader and always strive to lead by example and encouragement.
