Personal Statement

Hi my name is Magi Goranova! As a former tennis player, ranked #1 in Colorado for my age division, I discovered my true passion- volleyball. From the first practice, I knew that this was the sport for me and that I wanted to continue my athletic career beyond high school. I love the thrill of the game, the friendships you create and the competitiveness. I started my first two years of club and school volleyball as a middle and learning a lot along the way, but I have found my true calling as a pin hitter. I work hard on the court and find great value in being an uplifting and encouraging teammate. I am currently working on increasing my vertical and improving my agility on the court. My goal is to find a school where I can excel in my studies of journalism and pursue my love for the sport.
